Saint-Louis Church features an industrial architecture with a metal frame covered in millstone and multiple windows allowing natural light to flood the interior.
Built between 1901 and 1958 on land donated by Louis-Constantin Detouche, this church replaced an older building destroyed in 1670 on Avron Street.
The 56-meter bell tower, completed in 1926 by Paul Tournon, features 28 concrete statues sculpted by Carlo Sarrabezolles depicting Jacob's ladder.
Restoration work began in 2022 to address cracks and water infiltration, particularly in the bell tower and concrete structures.
A 15th-century stone cross, originally located on Avron Street, returned to the church in 1957 after being preserved by a local family.
