The first casino in Forges-les-Eaux was built in the early 19th century and demolished in 1872 to make way for a building better suited to the era's needs. A fire destroyed that new edifice in 1896, and a replacement casino was inaugurated in the early 20th century. In the 1950s it was refurbished after Jacques Hébertot, who also acquired the town's thermal spa, took ownership. Groupe Partouche bought the casino in 1986.
