Domaine de Beaurepaire, Renaissance and Gothic Revival château in Martinvast and Hardinvast, France

The Domaine de Beaurepaire extends across 146 hectares, featuring a main residence, twenty houses, greenhouses, bakery, stud farm, forests, and agricultural lands.

Originally built between 1579 and 1581 under Barthole du Moncel direction, the château replaced a medieval manor destroyed during the Hundred Years' War in 1398.

The estate received notable visitors including Empress Marie-Louise, Empress Eugénie, Queen Victoria, and Emperor Pedro I of Brazil during the 19th century.

The château, listed for sale at 2.2 million euros in 2020, was purchased in March 2022 by local investors planning future public access.

The circular tower from the 15th century remains intact, displaying architectural evolution from medieval period through Second Empire modifications.
