Domaine de Beaurepaire

Domaine de Beaurepaire is a Renaissance and Gothic Revival château spread across an extensive property in Normandy. The main residence stands alongside numerous outbuildings, greenhouses, working facilities, stables, wooded areas, and farmland.

The château was built between 1579 and 1581, replacing a medieval manor destroyed in 1398 during the Hundred Years' War. Over time, it underwent several modifications, particularly during the era of the Second Empire.

The estate served as a destination for European aristocracy during the 1800s, attracting imperial visitors from multiple nations. These guests left their mark on the rooms and enhanced the property's standing in society.

The property was privately acquired in 2022 by local investors who intend to open it for public visits. Visitors should check in advance about opening arrangements, as access details are still being developed.

A 15th-century circular tower still stands within the estate and bears witness to the site's architectural journey from medieval times through the modern era. This structure offers visitors a tangible connection to the different periods that shaped the property.
