Les Passages Pasteur is a shopping center in the heart of Besançon with multiple levels that brings together shops, restaurants, and various services under one roof. The architecture blends modern features with the urban character of the city center.

Initiated by the City of Besançon in 1998, Les Passages Pasteur formed part of a downtown revitalisation programme that also produced about a hundred homes and a large central car park. Dilapidated and industrial buildings at the site's core were demolished, while 16th- and 19th-century buildings were renovated. The centre was inaugurated on 18 November 2015, after the surrounding pedestrian spaces and Place Pasteur were reworked in 2007.

The name comes from Place Pasteur, where the center stands at the corner of Rue Pasteur and the pedestrian Grande Rue, on the axis between Place du 8 Septembre and Pont Battant. Rue Pasteur honours Louis Pasteur, the chemist and physicist born in nearby Dole who developed vaccines against rabies and anthrax.

The center has multiple entrances and is easily accessible from different parts of the city, with good public transportation connections. Inside, parking is available and the layout is clearly organized, helping visitors navigate easily.

The site's core mixed dilapidated and industrial buildings, demolished in the redevelopment, with 16th- and 19th-century buildings kept and renovated. The surrounding pedestrian spaces were reworked too, and Place Pasteur was inaugurated in 2007, eight years before the shopping center itself opened on 18 November 2015.
