Château de Couëllan

Château de Couëllan is a country manor in Brittany built with granite and schist stone. The western gable wall still bears traces of original plaster, showing how the building once appeared.

A fifteenth-century manor of the l'Hermine family was destroyed in 1591 and rebuilt around 1620. The new construction reflected the changing times and replaced what had been lost.
