Château de la Motte

The Château de la Motte features a central building with seven bays, flanked by two pavilions and separated by moats with symmetrical outbuildings.

Built on foundations from the 14th century, the current château dates from the 18th century and belonged to the Goth family who acquired the fief in 1315.

The interior spaces display period-specific elements including wood paneling, plasterwork, marble fireplaces, wallpapers, and terracotta tiles from the 18th and 19th centuries.

The estate extends over 205 hectares, incorporating 130 hectares of agricultural land and 75 hectares of woodland, with additional structures including a mill and bread oven.

The Barbara de Labelotterie de Boisséson family has maintained ownership of the château since 1922, preserving its architectural and historical elements.
