Château de la Tenaille, Medieval abbey in Saint-Sigismond-de-Clermont, France.

The 12th-century Romanesque chapel features an original pyramidal dome, while the castle and stables were constructed in the 18th century.

Established around 1125 by Gerald of Salles, the abbey received twelve monks under Abbot William of Conchamp starting in 1137.

The abbey preserved valuable relics, including a nail from Christ's cross and the pliers used to extract it.

The castle facades, roofs, and Romanesque chapel received protection as Historical Monuments in 1958.

According to local legend, a fountain in the abbey produced wine for 24 hours through an underground pipe system.
