The four-story yellow building features a double staircase entrance with decorative wrought iron railings and a triangular pediment topped with stone finials.
Originally constructed as a medieval oratory, the structure transformed into a hospital and municipal council chamber before becoming the town hall in 1770.
Notable art critic John Ruskin praised the exceptional craftsmanship of the wrought iron railings, which incorporate Annecy's symbolic trout design.
The building, located at Place Notre-Dame next to Notre-Dame Church, now functions as a presbytery and offers guided tours of its historical architecture.
The connecting element between this building and Notre-Dame Church received heritage protection status along with the facade and roof in 1943.
