Château de Toury-Lurcy, Medieval castle in Toury-Lurcy, France
The structure features a circular tower measuring 25 meters in height and 10 meters in diameter, alongside newer buildings with slate roofs.
The initial construction dates back to the 13th century, with major reconstruction work completed in 1776 using materials from the previous medieval fortress.
The ground floor salon displays wallpaper with arabesque patterns from the Veuve Mader manufacture, created in 1831 with floral and animal designs.
The castle remains visible from departmental road 22, with protected elements including stables, forge, dovecote, park, and corner turrets.
During construction works in the park area, workers discovered a collection of 14th and 15th-century coins in a location now known as 'the treasure'.
