Chartreuse d'Aubevoye, Carthusian monastery in Aubevoye, France.

The monastery features a central cloister surrounded by individual hermitages, each equipped with private gardens for contemplative purposes.

Founded in 1563 by Charles Cardinal de Bourbon, the monastery officially opened its doors in 1657 under the architectural guidance of Pierre Marchant.

The monastery contains noteworthy artworks, including paintings by Eustache Lesueur depicting the life of Saint Bruno created between 1645 and 1648.

The monastery extends across 30 hectares of land, incorporating gardens and agricultural buildings within its preserved boundary walls.

The remaining structures include carved wooden stalls and a main altar, with the Bourbon-Soissons tomb previously housing the ashes of notable French nobles.
