The cromlech du Pioch de Roumanis is a prehistoric stone circle set on a small hill in the Massif de la Gardiole, near Balaruc-les-Bains. The standing stones form a rough circle, with weathered surfaces that have endured for thousands of years.
The cromlech was built around 5,000 years ago during the Neolithic period and was likely used as a gathering or ceremonial site. Over time, some stones have shifted or fallen, leaving the original circle only partially visible today.
