Musée de la Coutellerie de Nogent

The museum exhibits over 8,000 items across seven categories including folding knives, table cutlery, professional tools, scissors, hand tools, surgical instruments, and grooming tools.

The establishment started in 1991, following the rich cutlery heritage of Nogent that began in the 17th century when craftsmen migrated from Langres due to trade restrictions.

The museum presents works of French master craftsmen, including Emile Drouot, Nicolas Pierre Pelletier, and Edmond Bourrier, who advanced cutlery artistry through generations.

The facility operates from Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, with adult admission at 5 euros and child tickets at 2.50 euros.

The museum collection contains numerous pieces from the former Roulot museum, representing exceptional quality and diversity in historical cutlery craftsmanship.
