The Barrage de la Rouvière is a flood control dam located between Bragassargues and Quissac in France. The structure holds back water to protect the valley from flooding.

The Rouvière dam is one of three flood-control dams built on the Vidourle after a historic flood in 1958. It stands on the Crieulon, a left-bank tributary, between Bragassargues and Quissac in the Gard; of the three, only Conqueyrac was built directly on the river. In September 2002 a vidourlade was so strong that the dams could not hold the roughly 2,650 m3/s measured downstream at Sommières.

Paths around the site lead through cattle and horse farms, showing how farming and water management are linked in this region.

Access to this site is available through local paths that run past surrounding farms. Visitors should wear sturdy footwear and be prepared for changing weather conditions.

The dam sits on the Crieulon, a seasonal tributary of the Vidourle with a rain-fed regime, so its reservoir is often at a very low water level. During the Vidourlade of 9 September 2002, the three Vidourle dams could not hold back a flow measured at about 2,650 m3/s downstream at Sommières.
