The hike to the summit takes about four hours with roughly 750 meters of elevation gain starting from Lastourg. The trail is manageable for those with moderate fitness, and it is best done in dry conditions.
From the summit, you have a direct view of the Canigou massif rising to about 2780 meters. This striking height difference creates a visual landmark that commands attention across the entire mountain range.
