The Moulin de Senlis in Montgeron is a former watermill made up of four rough light-brown stone buildings around an inner courtyard, with a chapel and a wooded park. A round tower with a tall grey conical roof stands beside a pointed arched gateway; to its right a long building has a steep reddish-brown tiled roof, a dark-framed arched window and a low crenellated wall.

The Moulin de Senlis is first mentioned in 1456 as the 'moulin de Sen Lices'. It was one of twenty watermills on the banks of the Yerres, grinding flour for the Paris market until the 19th century, when the river bed shifted north and the mill stopped working. In 1901, Eugène-Émile Esnault-Pelterie, architect of the Musée Grévin, bought the complex and added Gothic elements such as flying buttresses. A Russian doctor acquired it in 1927 for a Russian charity, and the town of Montgeron preempted it in 2018.

In 1927 a Russian doctor bought the estate on behalf of a Russian charitable association, which ran it as a reception centre for refugees. The grounds also hold a chapel, part of the four buildings grouped around an inner courtyard. The mill's name appears as 'Sen Lices' in 1456, before becoming Senlis.

The town of Montgeron acquired the property in 2018 and launched a renovation to create 26 residential units while maintaining its historical character. Check accessibility in advance, as restoration work may still be ongoing or recently completed.
