Château de Castelbon, Medieval castle in Betchat, France

The castle features a U-shaped structure with four towers at its corners, including two square and two round defensive positions.

Roger de Comminges became the Lord of Castelbon in 1394, marking the first documented period of the castle's noble ownership.

The castle represents the architectural style of French nobility with its massive walls and strategic defensive elements from the 14th century.

The castle remains a private property and cannot be visited, but visitors can observe its exterior structure from the nearby RD 35 road.

In 1953, the castle transformed into a model farm under Gilbert Tocanier before changing ownership multiple times in recent decades.
