The estate first appeared in documents in 1661 when Jacques de Beauvais donated it to the Church, before its reconstruction in the early 19th century.
The estate hosted medieval events in 2006, 2007, and 2016, adding to the cultural heritage of the Essonne region.
The site welcomes visitors on the first Saturday morning of each month, with specific opening hours on Mondays and Thursdays.
In 1824, Jean-François Dupuis-Delcourt completed a balloon ascent from the estate, reaching an altitude of 2600 meters.
