Château de Séran, 18th-century castle in Massac-Séran, France.

Château de Séran is a castle with a rectangular plan where one facade facing the park has a single level while the courtyard side rises two stories high. A distinctive belvedere tower crowns the roof, creating a prominent feature visible from the surrounding grounds.

The castle dates to the 18th century and was occupied during the 19th century by the Daguilhon-Pujol family, who held prominent legal and political positions. This family shaped the property's history during a period when it served as a center of regional influence.

The castle served as a social gathering place for local families who held dance dinners and balls there. These events reflect how the property functioned as a meeting point for regional high society.

The property is private and can only be viewed from outside, but it sits within a spacious park of about 5 hectares. Visitors should be aware that following a fire in 2014, the building is undergoing restoration work and interior access is not available.

The belvedere tower rising from the roof is an architectural feature shared by several residences across the Midi-Pyrenees region. These towers were typical of country estates of the era and served both as decorative elements and practical lookout points over the surrounding landscape.
