L'Aiguillon-la-Presqu'île, Coastal municipality in Vendée department, France
The territory extends along 13 kilometers of sandy beaches at the mouth of the Lay River, between the Atlantic Ocean and the Marais Poitevin wetlands.
The municipality came into existence on January 1, 2022, through the administrative merger of L'Aiguillon-sur-Mer and La Faute-sur-Mer communes.
The five supervised beaches and three maritime ports serve as central locations for nautical activities and community gatherings throughout the year.
The municipal services and media library Le Goéland remain open Monday through Saturday from 8:45 AM to 12:00 PM, with telephone service at +33 251971929.
The area contains two nature reserves, La Casse de la Belle Henriette and Baie de l'Aiguillon, plus a biological reserve at Pointe d'Arçay.
