Grave of Claude Debussy, Composer memorial in Passy Cemetery, France
The white marble gravestone displays Claude Debussy's name, birth and death dates, along with the inscription 'musicien français' in Division 14.
The remains of Claude Debussy were transferred to Passy Cemetery in 1919, one year after his death during World War I in Paris.
The grave marks the final resting place of the French composer who created revolutionary musical works like Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun.
Visitors can locate the grave by entering through the main entrance at 2 Rue du Commandant Schloesing in the 16th arrondissement of Paris.
The family tomb includes the remains of his daughter Claude-Emma, nicknamed Chouchou, who passed away at age 14 from diphtheria.
