Kupica, Rivulet in Delnice, Croatia

Kupica is a small stream in the Delnice region that flows through hilly terrain over several kilometers. The watercourse connects to larger water systems and supports local ecosystems along its path.

The stream has long been part of the Kupa river system that shapes the water networks of the region. It contributes to the larger drainage patterns flowing southward from the area.

Kupica rises near Donje Tihovo and runs 4.495 km before joining the Kupa at Brod na Kupi. Along the way it passes Mala Lešnica, Iševnica, Krivac and Zamost Brodski, so the stream links these small settlements of Gorski Kotar. Brod na Kupi, at its mouth, is the point where the two watercourses meet.

The area is best explored on foot through local walks and offers access to natural surroundings. Visitors should note that water levels vary with the seasons and weather conditions in the region.
