Széchenyi Mansion, Baroque memorial museum in Nagycenk, Hungary.
The Széchenyi Mansion spans multiple floors containing exhibition rooms that display artifacts and documents from the influential Széchenyi family throughout the centuries.
Built around 1750 under architect Franz Anton Pilgram's direction, the mansion underwent additional modifications between 1834 and 1840 following designs by Ringer József and Hild Ferdinánd.
The museum collection preserves the memory of István Széchenyi through manuscripts, personal items, and period furniture that reflect Hungarian nobility lifestyle.
Visitors can explore the mansion and its surrounding gardens from Tuesday through Sunday, with guided tours available in multiple languages upon advance reservation.
The mansion grounds include a family mausoleum and an extensive network of gardens featuring traditional Hungarian landscape elements from different historical periods.
