Festetics Palace, Dég, Neoclassical château in Dég, Hungary.
The white mansion features two symmetrical porticoes and stands within an extensive English garden crossed by three brooks and a long fishing lake.
The Festetics family commissioned architect Mihály Pollack to design this residence in 1802, marking the establishment of their Dég branch nobility line.
The upper floor contains exhibits about Freemasonry history, as the mansion stored the Hungarian Masonic archives for more than one hundred years.
Visitors need advance reservations to enter the mansion, which opens Tuesday through Sunday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM in summer months.
The estate includes a red-brick Dutch house from 1891 on a lake island, formerly accessible only by cable-pulled boats but now reached by wooden bridge.
