Vitány Castle

Vitány Castle is a fortress ruin located on the northern slopes of the Vértes Mountains with stone walls and defensive towers. The remains reveal a medieval defense structure that protected the people of this region for several centuries.

The fortress was built in the second half of the 13th century and served as an important stronghold in the region. Imperial forces destroyed it in 1598, and it has remained as ruins ever since.
