Klári Tolnay Memorial House

The Klári Tolnay Memorial House is a museum in Mohora displaying more than 400 photographs, personal items, family heirlooms, and theatrical costumes from her career. The collection provides a complete overview of her life and artistic work.

Klári Tolnay was born in 1914 and spent her early years in a large manor house in Mohora, where her father managed extensive farmland. She later left the village to pursue a career on stage.

The exhibition tells the story of how a village girl became a celebrated stage actress. This transformation is presented through personal items and costumes that reveal her connection to both her hometown and the theater world.
