Keida, Israeli outpost in the West Bank
Keida is a small settlement in the Judea and Samaria Area, administered by the Mateh Binyamin Regional Council. It consists of scattered homes on hilly terrain surrounded by open farmland with minimal public services.
The settlement was established in 2003 and represents a relatively recent development in the region. It grew without formal government approval, developing on a hill near the Allon Road.
Public transport is limited, so most people travel by car to nearby towns for shopping and services. The place is small and focused on local activities and community life.
The settlement was difficult for visitors to access in its early years and remained highly restricted until around 2009. Today the community contends with infrastructure challenges, with many structures built without official permission.
