Nature gardens

The Nature Gardens occupies eight acres of land with specialized sections for tropical plants, medicinal herbs, cacti, and plants from various Israeli ecosystems.

Established in 1940, the Nature Gardens became an integral part of Tel Aviv University's Department of Plant Sciences, supporting research and conservation initiatives.

The gardens feature educational programs and displays that connect visitors with Israel's plant diversity, from Mount Hermon species to Eilat's desert vegetation.

Located near Ramat Aviv neighborhood and accessible by public transport, the gardens offer guided tours and maintain collaboration with international research institutions.

The Jack Benesch-Bennett Garden for the Blind enables visitors to experience plants through touch and smell, creating an inclusive botanical learning environment.
