The site offers safe play equipment, designated picnic tables, outdoor exercise stations, and paved paths suited for walking and jogging. Visitors should note that its southern location means shade is limited except in early morning or late afternoon hours.

The central lake creates an ecosystem within a desert region, providing habitat for local plants and wildlife. This water feature appears as an unexpected oasis in the southern Israeli landscape and attracts various bird species.
