Tomb of Baba Sali

The Tomb of Baba Sali is a mausoleum in Netivot housing the burial site of Rabbi Yisrael Abuhatzeira, who was revered for his spiritual presence. The structure features marble walls and ornate decoration, with a central chamber marking the place of rest.

The rabbi was a Moroccan spiritual leader who dedicated his life to teaching and supporting his community before coming to Israel. His years in Netivot became the center of his spiritual work, and after his death in 1984 this mausoleum was built as his memorial.
