Sarnath Museum, Archaeological museum in India
The Sarnath Museum is the oldest site museum of Archaeological Survey of India.
It was established in 1910 by Sir John Marshall.
The museum houses artefacts excavated from the archaeological site of Sarnath.
It is located in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.
The Lion Capital of Ashoka on display at this museum has been adopted as the National Emblem of India.
