Indpur community development block

Indpur community development block is an administrative unit in Khatra subdivision serving multiple villages across the Bankura district. The area contains numerous panchayats that function as local governance centers for the surrounding rural communities.

The area produces Baluchari saris, a traditional handwoven fabric with elaborate patterns that artisans create using methods passed down through families. This craft remains deeply embedded in the local economy and daily life of several communities.
