Shazdeh Garden

The rectangular garden spans 5.5 hectares with multiple water fountains cascading through terraced levels connected by a central walkway to a two-floor residential building.

The garden, established in 1897 near Kerman Province, represents a late example of Qajar dynasty architecture and traditional Persian garden design principles.

The garden exemplifies Persian landscaping techniques through its symmetrical layout, water management systems, and integration of natural elements within structured spaces.

Located 6 kilometers from Mahan city center, the garden receives water from Tigaran River and maintains regular opening hours from 8 AM to 10 PM daily.

The garden's irrigation system operates without mechanical pumps, using natural gravity and height differences to power numerous fountains across multiple terrace levels.
