Sheikh Bahai Citadel

The Sheikh Bahai Citadel features seven towers reaching 14 meters in height, connected by defensive walls spanning across 3,000 square meters of land.

The citadel incorporates architectural elements from both the Safavid and Qajar periods, serving agricultural purposes including the management of animal manure during its early years.

Named after Bahāʾ al-dīn al-ʿĀmilī, the structure stands as a testament to Islamic architectural advancement and regional defensive strategies in Persian history.

Visitors can access the citadel grounds throughout the year, exploring the towers, decorative ponds, and fountains that have been integrated into the historical complex.

The citadel's design includes a special entryway called Shahneeshin and incorporates pigeon towers connected by tall earthen walls, forming a distinct square configuration.
