Manuchehri House

Manuchehri House is a two-story mansion in Kashan built with adobe and plaster walls featuring a central courtyard with a reflecting pool. Fruit gardens surround the central space, and the design follows typical Qajar-era architectural principles with multiple rooms opening onto the court.

The house was built some 400 years ago during the Safavid period and represents residential architecture from that era. It underwent restoration work before being converted into a boutique hotel in the early 2000s while preserving its historical character.

A textile workshop inside produces traditional Persian fabrics through weaving techniques that have been passed down through generations. Visitors can watch craftspeople create velvet and brocade pieces using methods that remain central to local artistic identity.

The property operates as a hotel with eight guest rooms, a restaurant serving regional dishes, and an art gallery open to visitors. The layout centers around the courtyard, so arriving guests should expect to move through this space to access different parts of the building.

The original basement cistern has been converted into an underground cinema while keeping the structural elements of the historic water storage system intact. This transformation shows how the owners blend traditional features with contemporary uses.
