Isfahan Flower Garden, Persian garden in District 4, Isfahan, Iran.
Isfahan Flower Garden is a Persian garden in Isfahan with multiple sections dedicated to different types of plants. The grounds contain a central flower display area, a water pond, a stone garden section, and areas featuring herbs and mountain plants.
The garden was established in the 1990s as part of a city development project to expand green spaces. Over time, it grew to showcase local plant species and traditional garden design approaches.
The garden incorporates traditional Persian design elements, including the Chahar Bagh layout that represents the four gardens of Paradise in Islamic architecture.
A large greenhouse in the northeast section maintains plant displays year-round regardless of outside weather conditions. Visitors should plan time to explore all the different garden areas, as the grounds span several zones.
The garden houses over 250 mountain plant species in its stone garden section, a collection of rare varieties native to the region. An additional herb area displays around 132 different Iranian plant varieties, many of which have traditional uses.
