Maddaloni

Maddaloni is a town in Caserta Province situated between mountains and plains. The settlement includes the church of Santa Margherita, medieval fortifications on nearby hills, and a national college building that houses significant artworks.

The settlement grew as a strategic location between Caserta and Naples, with a castle on the Tifata hills serving as a defensive stronghold. This fortress remained important for regional protection across several centuries.
