Sas dales Diesc reaches an elevation of 3026 meters within the Fanes group of the Dolomites, featuring distinctive limestone formations and steep slopes.

The mountain and surrounding area became part of the Fanes-Sennes-Braies Nature Park in 1980, leading to enhanced environmental protection measures.

The peak carries different names in multiple languages, reflecting the linguistic diversity of South Tyrol with its Italian, German, and Ladin heritage.

Climbers can access the summit through two primary routes starting from Forcella della Croce at 2612 meters, including a Via Ferrata path.

The mountain stands as the sole peak surpassing 3000 meters in the Cunturines subgroup, offering views across the Dolomites and Alpi Aurine.
