Accumoli

Accumoli is a mountain commune in the Province of Rieti situated at about 855 meters elevation within the Gran Sasso e Monti della Laga National Park. The settlement lies in the Umbria-Marche Apennines and offers views across the surrounding mountain landscape.

The commune was founded in the 12th century during Norman rule and remained part of the Kingdom of Naples for centuries. In 1927 it became integrated into the Province of Rieti as part of modern Italy's administrative reorganization.
