The Temple of Caesar, also known as the Temple of Divus Iulius, is an ancient structure in the Roman Forum of Rome, Italy.
Built by Augustus after the death of Julius Caesar in 44 BC, it was dedicated to the posthumously deified Julius Caesar.
It was the first temple in Rome to be dedicated to a mortal turned deity.
Today, only the platform and some of the steps remain from the original monument.
The site is also the location where Marc Antony delivered his famous 'Friends, Romans, countrymen' speech.
