Paganella

Paganella is a limestone peak in Trentino that rises to 2,125 meters and offers views across to Lake Garda and the surrounding mountain ranges. Seven lifts provide access to about 80 kilometers of trails for hiking, biking, and skiing depending on the season.

The mountain became a winter sports center in the early 20th century when cable cars first connected the villages of Fai della Paganella and Andalo. This connection transformed it into a destination that drew mountain enthusiasts from across the region.

The mountain brings together outdoor lovers who gather at local huts to share meals and stories in a relaxed setting. Traditional Trentino cuisine is served in these stone buildings scattered across the slopes.

The best visiting time depends on what you want to do: summer offers dry hiking trails, while winter brings reliable snow for skiing. Good footwear and weather-appropriate clothing are essential since conditions can change quickly at higher elevations.

The Eagles Via Ferrata is a climbing route with metal cables fixed directly into the rock face, allowing adventurous visitors to cross steep limestone walls. This type of route requires special equipment and offers a memorable climbing experience at exposed locations.
