Parco della Preistoria di Rivolta d'Adda

The 100-hectare naturalistic park features 30 life-sized prehistoric animal reconstructions along shaded paths surrounded by indigenous woodland vegetation and botanical gardens.

Founded in 1978, the park expanded its collections with a paleontological museum in 2009 and continues adding new prehistoric animal models, including Saltriovenator and Diplodocus.

The educational facility combines natural history exhibitions with recreational spaces, making prehistoric knowledge accessible to visitors through guided paths and fossil displays.

Located 20 kilometers east of Milan, the park includes picnic areas, a cafe, playgrounds, and walking trails where bicycles and leashed dogs are permitted.

The park incorporates a natural marsh derived from Lake Aironi, supporting aquatic plants and providing habitat for local wildlife including foxes and European badgers.
