Parco della Preistoria di Rivolta d'Adda is a naturalistic park spanning roughly 100 hectares with thirty full-scale prehistoric animal reconstructions positioned along shaded pathways. The site combines indigenous woodlands with botanical gardens and houses a paleontological museum displaying fossils and geological specimens.

Founded in 1978, the park began as a naturalistic space focused on prehistoric education and outdoor learning. A paleontological museum was added in 2009, marking a shift toward more comprehensive fossil study and continued expansion of its animal model collection.

The park serves as a place where people learn about prehistoric worlds while experiencing nature firsthand. The reconstructed animals scattered along shaded paths offer a tangible sense of how life unfolded across different geological periods.

The park is situated east of Milan and provides facilities including picnic areas, a cafe, and playgrounds for visitors of all ages. Dogs on leashes and bicycles are permitted along the trails, making a visit adaptable to different preferences and family needs.

The site incorporates a natural marsh ecosystem that evolved from the former Lake Aironi, creating habitat for native wildlife. This wetland area sustains specialized aquatic and marsh plants while sheltering foxes, European badgers, and other woodland creatures.
