Hofburg, Episcopal palace in Brixen, Italy
The Palazzo Vescovile contains three floors of carefully arranged exhibition spaces displaying religious artifacts and architectural elements from different periods.
The residence of Brixen bishops for centuries, this palace underwent modifications under architect Alberto Lucchese who integrated various architectural elements.
Within its decorated halls, the palace museum presents collections of regional ecclesiastical art, demonstrating the religious influence in South Tyrol.
The museum opens daily from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM between October and May, extending to 6:30 PM from June through September.
The palace gardens feature geometric patterns and plant arrangements that reflect traditional Episcopal garden design principles of Northern Italy.
