Palazzo Incontri Viti, Renaissance palace in Volterra, Italy
The Palazzo Incontri Viti extends 40 meters along the street with a depth of 16 meters and features an ornate stone facade with decorative windows.
Attilio Incontri, a minister of the Grand Duke of Tuscany, commissioned the construction of this noble residence at the end of the 16th century.
The interior houses a collection of Italian furniture from the 15th to 19th centuries, along with ancient alabaster artifacts and monumental candelabra.
The palace functions as a villa museum open to visitors from April through November, displaying historical collections and exhibitions in the heart of Volterra.
In 1816, part of the structure was transformed into Teatro Persio Flacco, which remains one of the notable provincial theaters in Italy.
