Santuario della Madonna dei Miracoli

The Sanctuary features Renaissance architecture with a central dome, four side chapels, and numerous frescoes decorating its interior surfaces.

Construction of the Sanctuary began on May 8, 1498, following a reported miracle where the Virgin Mary appeared in a local man's dream.

The interior contains significant artworks by Italian masters, including Bernardino Luini's frescoes in the major chapel and Gaudenzio Ferrari's dome paintings.

The Sanctuary opens daily with specific hours: Monday through Saturday from 06:30 to 12:00 and 16:00 to 18:30, Sundays until 19:00.

The dome features the Concerto degli Angeli, a collection of 56 angel musicians painted by Gaudenzio Ferrari in 1534.
