Villa Gianetti

Villa Gianetti is a manor house in Saronno featuring decorated rooms, columned porches, courtyards, and paintings by local artists Bonatti and Chiesa. The building now operates as a museum displaying these original artistic elements and early 20th-century architectural details.

Architect Domenico Verga designed the villa in 1919 as a private residence for the Gianetti family. The municipality acquired it in 1923 and has used it since as a cultural venue.

The house serves as a gallery space where works by regional artists are displayed and musical performances and readings regularly take place. Visitors experience a setting where artistic expression and community life intersect.

The house is located centrally on Via Roma and opens to visitors Wednesday through Saturday. Plan enough time to explore the rooms and examine the paintings displayed throughout the space.
