Carmine

The Church of Carmine is a baroque church building in Lecce featuring a three-tiered facade decorated with biblical statues. Inside, six chapels line the walls and create a structured arrangement of spaces.

The building was directed by architect Giuseppe Cino and constructed between 1711 and 1722 in the early 18th century. This period saw the creation of a structure that represents the baroque language of the region.
