Cima di Cece, Mountain summit in Predazzo, Italy
The Cima di Cece peak reaches an elevation of 2,754 meters, standing as the highest point in the Lagorai mountain range of Trentino.
During World War I, the mountain served as a strategic military position with fortifications and trenches marking the border between Italy and Austria-Hungary.
The mountain paths preserve the memory of local mountain communities through traditional routes that connected different valleys across generations.
Hikers can start their ascent from Malga di Valmaggiore at 1,620 meters, following a marked trail that takes approximately four hours to reach the summit.
The summit provides a 360-degree view of multiple mountain ranges, including the Latemar, Catinaccio, Marmolada, and the Pallide San Martino formations.
