The memorial occupies the underground area of Milan Central Station, featuring exhibition spaces across multiple levels connected by metal walkways and stairs.
From 1943 to 1945, the basement of Milan Central Station served as a deportation point where Jewish prisoners were loaded onto trains to concentration camps.
The memorial contains permanent exhibitions with photographs, documents, and personal objects that tell the stories of Jewish families affected by deportation during World War II.
Visitors can access guided tours lasting 45 minutes, with entrance fees of 10 euros for adults and reduced prices for students, while children under 5 enter free.
The memorial preserves Track 21, the original railway platform where deportation trains departed, maintaining its authentic structure and railway equipment from the 1940s.
