Museum of the White War in Adamello

The Museum of the White War in Adamello displays an extensive collection of World War I artifacts, military equipment, and photographs from Alpine combat operations.

Founded in 1974 and officially opened in 1984, the museum preserves historical items recovered from high-altitude battlefields of the Adamello-Presanella mountain range.

The museum maintains a collection of soldiers' personal belongings, military uniforms, and daily objects that illustrate life during mountain warfare between 1915 and 1918.

The facility occupies two floors in central Temù, features wheelchair accessibility, and received 24,158 visitors in 2019 before pandemic-related restrictions.

Exhibits include a reconstructed military shelter with original materials and a restored cable car system used during Alpine combat operations.
