Museum of the White War in Adamello

The Museum of the White War in Adamello is a repository of World War I artifacts, military equipment, and photographs documenting Alpine combat operations. The exhibits focus on warfare in the high-altitude Adamello-Presanella mountain region.

The museum was established to preserve findings recovered from high-altitude battlefields in the region. It was founded in 1974 and officially opened in 1984, ensuring that memories of warfare in this extreme environment endure.

The museum displays soldiers' personal items, uniforms, and everyday objects that show what life was like during mountain warfare between 1915 and 1918. These pieces help visitors understand how ordinary people lived through combat in extreme conditions.
